Andy is an award-winning science communicator and founder of verbalize.science – the scientist friendly way to amplify and extract value from research for universities and research institutes.
He was awarded the 2015 unsung hero of South Australian science communication and verbalize.science has won a number of awards including the 2018 Hybrid World pitching competition and Flinders University’s Venture Dorm eNVIEs.
Andy is also the host and producer of Publish, Perish or Podcast, he has written for many publications including Cosmos Magazine, ScienceAlert, Australia’s Science Channel and Australian Quarterly and his videos can be found at Australia’s Science Channel.
He has a background in renewable energy materials and nanotechnology and an interest in new technology and materials for energy.
