Explanation designer, Explanovision
James is a writer, illustrator & animator who creates clear & engaging explanations of complex information for non-experts.
He has been involved in the visual communication of science for over 20 years having started as a researcher with Beyond 2000 in 1996. Recently he’s:
– provided an illustrated cast of science participants to publicise Australia’s National Science Week
– designed fast recognition emergency oxygen delivery labels and a trolley top planning scratch space for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and
– animated and cowritten a documentary with Vanessa Hill (BrainCraft & PBS studios) for Screen Australia and YouTube.
