Melina is a passionate science communicator with a background in ecological research, project management, and science communication and engagement. She has expertise in communicating research outcomes to a wide range of target audiences on topics ranging from agriculture, plant ecology, climate, and more recently, in the area of energy. She currently works with a large group of CSIRO energy researchers to communicate their work on renewable resources, grids and energy efficiencies and carbon technologies.
