Dr Julie Irish is a health specialist at Biotext and a highly experienced science writer and editor. She has a PhD in microbiology and molecular biology, a research background in antimicrobials and immunobiology, a Master of Public Health, and professional qualifications in science editing. Julie was part of the Biotext team that developed the Australian Manual of Scientific Style (AMOSS) – an online guide for writing, editing and showing science information clearly and accurately.

We provide expert training in scientific writing, editing and data visualisation, and are the developers of the Australian manual of scientific style, now published in partnership with Macquarie University.
